Because of the efforts of Vice Mayor David Lane, the Military Moms and Gold Star Mothers, watched Masonry and More install the new S added to the soldier statue at Wheeler Park.

Steve Ticknor, Veterans Thrift Store, Elks Lodge 2399, Rick Foster, Marine Corps League Detachment 757, and Lake Havasu City Military Moms all donated to cover the cost to replace the S.

Naomi from Bradbury Memorial Center sourced and ordered the new S and had it shipped here. Masonry and More installed it at no charge.

This is just in time for the upcoming annual Gold Star Mother’s event to be held on Sunday, September 24th.

Thank you to all involved!
