At approximately 2:45 this afternoon (May 23, 2023), our crews were dispatched to the report of a possible drowning victim near Davis Camp.  Battalion Chief T. Queen, Fireboat721, E731, and M731, respond to the scene along with the Bullhead City Police Department.   Shortly after units arrived members from the dive team entered the water, locating the male subject. He then was transferred to the shoreline and transported to WARMC.  His condition is unknown at this time.  No further information is available.

Per witness statements, the male subject had possibly attempted to swim across the Colorado River without a life jacket.

As first responders, we urge everyone who is in or around water to utilize a Coast Guard Approved lifejacket at all times
