On Saturday (3/25), all four units of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue participated in the Arizona Search and Rescue Coordinators Association (ASARCA) Tracker 1 classroom and field operations. This training includes advanced tracking techniques used to detect tracks through contaminated search areas and terrain difficult to track through – such as pine needles, grasses and rocky terrain. Tracking is routinely used during search and rescue missions and our searchers continually enhance their personal tracking skills. Great job by everyone!
