A few photos of E731’s crew dispatched last night for a fire involving a semi on Highway 68 just west of Landon Dr. Arriving on
the scene, the involved semi was stopped in the westbound center lane. E731’s Captain Bare reported an active fire to the trailer brakes with an extension into the trailer. The crew was able to quickly extinguish the fire.
However, we would like to take this opportunity to remind all citizens of Arizona’s “Move Over” law. The law requires motorists to move over one lane – or slow down if it isn’t safe to change lanes – when driving by any vehicle with flashing lights pulled to the side of a road or highway.
This is equally important to remember when emergency personnel are actively working an emergency scene. Simply moving over or slowing down makes a safer environment for all! #thankyoubullheadfireteam
