KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman will be applying center line (yellow) striping throughout the City, Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9, 2023, weather permitting. During this time there will be travel delays and reduced speeds due to lane restrictions.

Crews will only occupy one lane, and in most areas, drivers will be able to drive around striping vehicles, however we ask drivers to use caution around crews. The city recommends drivers not drive through newly applied paint but depending on temperatures, paint can dry within about 30 seconds. The schedule will be dictated by wind and traffic, therefore an exact map and location of crews during striping is unavailable.

The City of Kingman urges motorists to pay extra attention while driving in and around work zones, maintenance vehicles, and encourages the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle. The contact for the City of Kingman is Shane Shilstone at 928-757-7467.
