STRUCTURE FIRE June 29th , 2023

On June 29 th at approximately 2:00pm, The Northern Arizona Fire District (NAFD) and
Kingman Fire department units responded to a structure fire at 4813 N. Casey Circle.
Engine 311, Engine 321, Tender 338, Tender 318, Ladder 324, Ladder 234, Battalion 3
and Battalion 2 were initially assigned. Dispatch updated responding units with reports of
a trapped child that could be heard crying from outside the home. First arriving units
were updated that the child had already been evacuated from the home. Initial arriving
units were met with heavy fire off the home and spreading rapidly into the ally way to the
rear of the home. An all clear was quickly established inside the structure that was on
fire. A second alarm was called for additional manpower. Due to heat and other factors a
3 rd alarm for more units was called not too long after the second alarm. Two structures
received fire damage but were not a total loss. The two families displaced received aid
from the Red Cross. No injuries to civilians or fire personnel to report.
Northern Arizona Fire district would like to thank its continued support from neighboring
departments. Kingman Fire Department, Golden Valley Fire District, Hualapai Nation
Fire Department, Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District, Bullhead Fire Department, Lake
Havasu Fire Department, Yucca Fire District, Desert hills Fire District, and Pinion Pine
Fire District
Fire Investigator was requested from the City of Kingman Fire Department. The cause of
the fire is under investigation.
