The Bullhead City School District has been advised that a student at Bullhead City Middle School died on Friday.  The student reported feeling ill earlier in the week and was not on campus for Flex Friday.

No additional information about the student is being released at this time to protect both individual and family privacy.

BCMS principal Cynthia Cochran and BCMS Superintendent Carolyn Stewart, who previously served as principal on that campus, issued the following joint statement:

“Students in our schools are part of a large family. When something happens to one, it deeply affects all of us. We are sending love and light to the child’s families … both at home and at school.”
