KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman wants to inform the community about a waterline replacement project that will take place this week on Patsy Drive. City of Kingman Utility Crews and Contractor will be on-site starting Monday, May 6th at 8:00 am, to tie-in all of the alley lines with a new 8” line that has been installed on Patsy Drive from Northern Ave. to Thompson Ave.

The crews will start work on the alley between Thomson Ave. and Lum Ave. first, working South on each alley. Each tie-in will take about 4 hours. This is the final step of the first phase of a multi-year project aimed at removing all of the waterlines and meters in these alleys. The new infrastructure will provide easy access to the lines and meters.

Please note that there will be a road closure on Northern Ave. on Wednesday, May 8, at Patsy Dr. Expect temporary water outages in the area, as about 4 hours will be needed for each tie-in. The project is anticipated to be completed by Friday, May 10th.

The City of Kingman urges anyone traveling through work zones to use caution and provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.

For information about the project, questions, or concerns please contact the City of Kingman Public Works Department at 928-757-7467.
