**Bureau of Land Management to Host Paradise Cove Cleanup and Trail Maintenance Event**
Yuma, Ariz. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces a Paradise Cove cleanup and trail maintenance event scheduled for Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This volunteer-driven effort spearheaded by BLM is a part of the ongoing beautification initiative aimed at enhancing our shared public lands. In addition to the cleanup efforts, a BLM wildlife biologist will be onsite, offering educational information on native species.
The BLM stewards over 245 million acres of public land, primarily dispersed throughout 12 western states, including Alaska. Additionally, the BLM also oversees 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate nationwide. Our mission resonates with the commitment to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
Members of the community keen on participating or supporting this event, or for those seeking additional details, are invited to email Assistant Field Manager Jessica Han at jhan@blm.gov.
