BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., July 17, 2024 – McCormick Construction, under contract with Bullhead City Utilities, will begin repaving a one-hundred-foot section of Highway 95 adjacent to China Panda Restaurant tonight. During construction, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane inside the median to give construction crews room to work.
The work will begin at 9 p.m. tonight and will wrap up by 5 a.m. tomorrow. It will then resume the following evening at 9 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. Friday morning.
The project aims to replace a small temporary patch on the highway along with the surrounding asphalt. The patch was put in place after Bullhead City Utilities completed a repair of a leaking service line a few weeks ago. This effort will not only provide a permanent fix to the temporary patch but also allow for a safer and smoother driving experience. The City will ensure the new pavement’s longevity and improve motorists’ driving experience by repaving a larger section of the roadway.
Furthermore, the project will enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the highway. By investing in this infrastructure improvement, the City is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable driving experience for all users of the highway.
Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone, obey posted signage, and adhere to traffic control devices.
