BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

DRUGS—Brandon Eugene Bankston, 23 and Austyn Craig Bird, 22, were arrested on June 9 in the Walmart parking lot. Police say Bankston and Bird reportedly got into an altercation over $20. Bankston reportedly acted like he had a weapon to scare Bird, as well as yelling and disturbing the peace at the business. Bird left the scene prior to police arriving, but was later stopped at Desert Foothills Boulevard and Desert Vista Drive. He reportedly had heroin in his possession. Bird was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bankston was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Police also made contact with Jazmine Sara Elizabeth Mitchell, 21, a passenger with Bird. A search reportedly revealed heroin on her possession. She was cited and released on suspicion of drug paraphernalia. Bird and Bankstown were taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE—John Michael Birr, 55, was arrested on June 9 in the 2800 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of criminal damage and disorderly conduct. Police state a Walmart employee attempted to ask Birr to leave because he was punching a garbage can. He then reportedly started to yell racial slurs/profanities at the manager and was very offense and threatening. Birr is alleged to have also damaged a vehicle in the parking lot. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Orlando Gene Bitsilly, 33, was arrested on June 9 in the 3100 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of aggravated assault per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. It was reported Bitsilly and his girlfriend allegedly got into a fight and he reportedly strangled her to the point of unconsciousness. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

ASSAULT— Luis Alfonso Espinoza, 28, was arrested on June 9 in the 1800 block of Montclair Drive on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct. A male victim reported a silver Jeep Wrangler driving erratically. The victim said he pulled into a parking lot on Hancock Road to see if he could take a picture of the license plate. He said the driver got out and reportedly punched him several times. The victim said he didn’t know the suspect or other people in the Jeep. The Jeep matching the description was found on Montclair Drive. The driver, identified as Espinoza, reported that he and the other male got into a road rage type argument before the assault occurred. Espinoza was taken to the Mohave County jail.

MARIJUANA/LIQUOR TO MINOR—Joseph Anthony Locke, 19, was arrested on June 9 in the area of Clearwater Drive and Swan Drive on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, consumption of spirituous liquor by a minor, and providing spirituous liquor to minors. Police reportedly observed a group of juveniles walking and one of the girls stumble and fall over, twice. The officer stopped them and reportedly noticed all had been consuming alcohol. Three female juveniles—ages 15 to 17—were cited and released to their parents. Locke was taken to the Mohave County jail.

WARRANT–Katherine Aline Davis, 53, was arrested on June 9 in the area of Emery Drive and Oliver Street on a warrant for failure to pay fines. Police stopped Davis at the intersection of Emery Dr and Oliver St for failing to stop for a stop sign while riding her bicycle. Davis was given a warning on the bike violation. She was taken to the Mohave County jail for the warrant.

DOG AT LARGE–Gregory Todd Mulvaney, 58, was cited and released on June 9 in the 200 block of Riverwood Lane on suspicion of dog at large. Reports state officers with the Animal Care & Welfare responded to the area for a report of a dog at large. Mulvaney was contacted and issued a citation for dog at large and licensing requirement.

WARRANT–Joshua Shane Crownover, 32, was arrested on June 9 in the 2000 block of Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant for underage drinking issued out of La Paz County. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ASSAULT—Lyndsay Leeann Wootten, 25, was arrested on June 10 in the 2100 block of Del Rey Drive on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault, disorderly conduct per domestic violence, and assault per domestic violence. It was reported Wootten and her sister’s fiance, Brian Jett, 42, got into a physical fight with each other. Wootten reportedly assaulted her sister for not taking her side in the argument. Jett was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assault. Both were taken to the Mohave County jail.

WARRANT–Michael Lee Narron, 55, was arrested on June 10 in the 1000 block of Papago Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines. He was released after posting bond.
