UPDATE 06/11/2024 4:00 PM- HIT AND RUN VEHICLE VS. PEDESTRIAN INVESTIGATION- KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are continuing their investigation into a hit and run vehicle vs. pedestrian collision that occurred on Monday (6/10). At approximately 6PM, Deputies responded to the area of Mallard Dr. and Dove Ln. for reports of two female victims being struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene, and we requested information from the community to identifying the vehicle involved. The victims were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center, and one was later flown to a Las Vegas hospital where they are both listed in stable condition.
On Tuesday (6/11), Detectives were able to locate the involved vehicle and served a search warrant on a property in the 3600 block of Quail Ln. At the conclusion of the search warrant, the suspect, identified as Donna Lyn Bedard (54 of Kingman) was arrested for two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Endangerment, and Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Injury Accident, all felonies. Bedard was transported and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman. This investigation is ongoing.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to identify and locate a vehicle involved in a vehicle vs. pedestrian hit and run collision.

At approximately 6pm this evening, Deputies and Detectives were called to the area of Mallard Dr. and Dove Ln., where two female victims had been struck by a vehicle before it fled the scene. The victims were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The vehicle is described as a blue Volkswagon sedan, and should have front-end damage from the collision. The vehicle was last seen headed west on Martin Dr. and there is no suspect/driver description at this time. Anyone with information about the involved vehicle and driver is encouraged to contact our Detective Division at 928-753-0753 ext. 4288.
