**Rancho Santa Fe Parkway Groundbreaking Scheduled for December 2nd**
KINGMAN, AZ – The City of Kingman is proud to announce the groundbreaking ceremony of the highly anticipated Rancho Santa Fe Parkway Traffic Interchange. The ceremony is scheduled for December 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
This eagerly awaited project signifies a crucial advancement in the regional infrastructure and economic growth for both Kingman and the surrounding area. The groundbreaking event will take place on the south side of the interchange, which can be reached by taking Louise east to the end of the pavement and then turning left.
“Years of dedication and collaboration from numerous community leaders and stakeholders have culminated in this groundbreaking,” states Mayor Ken Watkins. “The Rancho Santa Fe Parkway Interchange will enhance our city’s connectivity and open new economic opportunities, thereby creating a lasting impact on our community’s future.”
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will oversee the project’s administration. In September 2024, Pulice Construction, Inc. was awarded the construction contract. Work is scheduled to commence on December 2, 2024, with an anticipated completion date in the summer of 2026.
The Rancho Santa Fe Parkway Interchange, previously known as Rattlesnake Wash Interchange, has been regarded as vital to the region’s transportation infrastructure. It will form a crucial link between Kingman’s Municipal Airport, Industrial Park, Interstate 40, and the future I-11 business corridor, thus enhancing Kingman’s role as a strategic hub for transportation and commerce.
The City of Kingman expresses gratitude to the community for their support and the collaborative spirit that has made this project possible. The public and all residents are invited to attend the December 2 groundbreaking ceremony in celebration of this significant milestone.
