Cacao Ceremony and Sacred Music Medicine
Cacao Ceremony is a spiritual ritual that involves consuming ceremonial-grade cacao in a group
setting to facilitate connection, healing, and self-exploration. It originates from ancient Mayan
and Aztec traditions and has gained popularity in modern times for its ability to promote
mindfulness and personal growth. It can be stimulating or relaxing. It can be help you feel joy, or help you feel grief. It can drop you into a receptive meditative state, or support creative output for hours. Be ready for unashamed heart opening and eventually a greater awareness of yourself and who you were truly meant to be!! We will also have a heart opening meditation with acoustic music by Monica of Joyful Henna to support and encourage comfort within our hearts. Located at 417 E Beale St. 11am – 1pm. IMPORTANT! WHO should avoid Cacao:
* If you are on MAOI antidepressants, cacao (& all forms of chocolate) is contraindicated
because it contains tyramine. *If you take antipsychotic medication, (for any reason), consuming ceremonial cacao in this way is also contraindicated. Ingredients in the Cacao: Guatemalan Ceremonial Grade Cacao, Water, Cayenne pepper, Blue lotus
