You’ve no doubt seen the YouTube videos, Facebook posts, hit piece postcards, emails and ‘text blasts’. After a barrage of negative campaigning, it’s no wonder that so many people are turned off to politicians.
I have a different idea.
I’m Rich Lettman, a 73-year-old retired businessman who is a member of the BHC City Council. I’m running to be elected County Supervisor representing Bullhead City.
Unlike my two opponents, my campaign has stayed focused on the basics: keeping your taxes low, hiring more law enforcement and judges, fixing our traffic mess, fighting the water wars and denying funding for the maintenance of undocumented immigrants (legal immigrants are welcome).
I sincerely believe that both of my opponents lack the training and experience necessary to manage a $600 million county budget and the 1,700 employees that go with it. And being “Citizen of the Year” doesn’t qualify anyone to be a County Supervisor. But my 50+ years’ experience with large companies and a small business does.
I don’t do hit pieces. Mine is a positive campaign. I have actual plans that propose ideas to increase the hiring of sheriff’s deputies by reducing spending on non-essential projects. I have a novel idea to take more traffic off of Highway 95. I want to propose legislation that will specifically prohibit using county funds for the maintenance of illegal immigrants (similar to what BHC did).
Now, it’s time to make your decision.
You deserve leadership that stands on conservative principles and is focused on actual ideas that help our community.
I’m fighting for Bullhead City. Stand with me on July 30th.
