Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team Has 3 Separate Drug Busts

Bullhead City MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) detectives are committed to investigating the sales of dangerous drugs, especially Fentanyl in our community.

 

Below are three separate (unrelated) incidents where MAGNET seized a large quantity of Fentanyl pills and put local drug dealers behind bars.

#1 

Bullhead City Police MAGNET detectives, Kingman MAGNET detectives, and MCSO (Mohave County Sheriff’s Office) deputies arrested Jacob Martin Gaul, 31, and Cody Gene Siner, 30, for transportation of narcotic drugs for sale. Additionally, Gaul was charged with theft and misconduct involving a weapon.

On Thursday, October 12 at approximately 3 a.m., MCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Gaul and Siner after observing traffic violations in the area of 6000 Minerva Lane in Kingman, Arizona. Gaul and Siner were contacted and due to their suspicious behaviors, a MCSO K-9 was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. MCSO deputies found a large quantity of packaged counterfeit “M-30” pills containing fentanyl concealed in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle also revealed that Gaul was in possession of a stolen firearm. Bullhead City and Kingman MAGNET detectives responded to the scene and continued the investigation. A total of approximately 2,300 counterfeit “M-30” blue pills containing Fentanyl were seized during the incident.

Gaul and Siner were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

#2 

Bullhead City Police MAGNET detectives, Kingman MAGNET detectives, and MCSO (Mohave County Sheriff’s Office) deputies arrested Andrea Joleen Kough, 45, and Michael Christopher Young, 41, for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, and transportation of narcotic drugs for sale.
On Thursday, October 26 at approximately 1:30 a.m., MCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Young and Kough after observing traffic violations in the area of Milepost 59 on I-40 in Kingman, Arizona. Kough was contacted and advised illegal drugs were inside the vehicle. A MCSO K-9 was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics. MCSO deputies found a large quantity of packaged counterfeit “M-30” pills containing fentanyl concealed in the vehicle. Bullhead City and Kingman MAGNET detectives responded to the scene and continued the investigation. A total of approximately 4,000 counterfeit “M-30” blue pills containing Fentanyl were seized during the incident and a half ounce of packaged methamphetamine. Kough and Young were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

Bullhead City Police MAGNET detectives, Kingman MAGNET detectives, and MCSO (Mohave County Sheriff’s Office) deputies arrested Aaron Joseph Fields, 40, and Andrew Gavin Stewart, 52, for transportation of narcotic drugs for sale. Additionally, Fields was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant and kidnapping from an unrelated previous incident.

On Thursday, October 26 at approximately 3:30 a.m., MCSO deputies contacted a white SUV occupied by Stewart and Fields in the area of Fort Rock Road and I-40 in Kingman, Arizona. Fields was contacted and arrested for a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear out of Bullhead City Municipal Court. Illegal items were observed in plain view. MCSO deputies found a large quantity of packaged counterfeit “M-30” pills containing fentanyl concealed in the vehicle. Bullhead City MAGNET detectives responded during the incident and continued the investigation. A total of approximately 3,000 counterfeit “M-30” blue pills containing Fentanyl were seized during the incident.

Fields and Stewart were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
