FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SO OTHERS MAY LIVE

Do you think you have what it takes to help others and save lives? The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team is recruiting prospective members. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers who respond to search and rescue missions throughout Mohave County’s backcountry—anytime, any place, and in any weather.

As a team member, you will be trained to perform professional technical rescues, address medical needs, and deliver basic first aid. If you’re ready to be part of a skilled and diverse team dedicated to saving lives, we’d like to meet you.

To be considered, please attend our Orientation meeting on December 10th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Mohave Valley Substation, located at 6870 Highway 95 in Mohave Valley.
