In honor of National Police Officer’s Week, The Bee will be profiling an officer and/or deputy each day this week from local law enforcement agencies. Our Thursday profile is of Officer Earl Chalfant from the Lake Havasu City Police Department.
Chalfant has been with LHCPD for 16 years. He spent time as a boating officer before moving on to their Criminal Investigations Unit. As a detective, Chalfant investigated child crimes for about four years and is a certified forensic interviewer. He currently works a patrol shift and as a Field Training Officer helping new officers develop their skills.
When is not on duty, Chalfant enjoys attending sporting events his children are involved in.
Thank you Officer Chalfant for all you do!
Check back each day as we feature those behind the badge.
He is an awesome officer and person. Well deserved. Congratulations.
