This afternoon E751 and M751 were dispatched to an address on E Cactus Ct for a traumatic injury involving a crane. Units responded and requested a helicopter response. BAT7 S. Campbell self-dispatched to incident and added HR767 to the assignment. F705 and PD also assisted. BAT7 arrived and assumed Cactus Command. On-scene the patient’s legs were caught under a tipped over scissor lift (not a crane). 751s crews used hydraulic tools and cribbing to extricate the patient. Command requested PD to the park on Corwin Rd to clear the area and diverted HR767 there to set up the landing zone. Command relocated to the park at this time and 751 units packaged patient who had suffered multiple injuries and transported patient to the LZ. Classic Air 12 landed at LZ, packaged patient, then transported to UMC Las Vegas. No further information is available at this time.
