BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz., September 20, 2024 – The Bullhead City Police Department is currently investigating a traffic collision that resulted in the death of a 67-year-old driver.

At approximately 10 a.m. on September 20th, police were dispatched to the 700 block of Morro Cove following reports that a man had collided with property on the 2200 block of Coronado Drive. After the initial collision, the man then backed up and struck another property on Morro Cove.

While on scene, Bullhead City Fire paramedic teams attempted to administer aid to the driver. During this time, the driver suffered from a medical episode. Immediate lifesaving measures were initiated, and the driver was promptly transported to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Despite these efforts, the man was later pronounced deceased.

At this time, the name of the driver cannot be released due to ongoing efforts to notify his next of kin. No other injuries arising from this incident have been reported.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a medical episode was a contributing factor in the collisions. Impairment is not believed to have been a factor.

The Bullhead City Police Department will continue to investigate these incidents and will provide updates as they become available.
