Elite Airways Starts Nonstop Jet Service Between Laughlin/Bullhead and Phoenix

LAUGHLIN–-Today marks the start of airline service to Phoenix Sky Harbor airport from the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport.

A celebration and commemoratory water cannon salute will be held at 5 p.m. for the inaugural flight of Elite Airways.

“We are excited to welcome Elite Airways’ scheduled service to our airport,” said Jeremy Keating, Airport Director for the Mohave County Airport Authority. “The new service will serve as an important access point between Laughlin/Bullhead City and Phoenix while also helping attract new tourists to the area.”

The airline will offer non-stop twice-a-week service on Thursday’s and Sunday’s. Departure times are 5 p.m. with an arrival in Phoenix by 6 p.m. Flights will depart Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. and return to Laughlin at 7:30 p.m. Fares begin at $99 one way.

“We are pleased to start twice-weekly nonstop service between Laughlin and Phoenix,” said John Pearsall, President of Elite Airways. “We have high expectations for this route, and thank city and airport officials for their support.”
