KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman, in partnership with Mohave County, will be working to update lane striping throughout the community starting on Wednesday, July 10th. The work will be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and is expected to take up to two weeks to complete. During this time there will be travel delays due to intermittent lane restrictions.

Crews will only occupy one lane, and in most areas, drivers will be able to drive around striping vehicles. However, we ask drivers to use caution around crews. The city recommends drivers not drive through newly applied paint. The schedule is subject to change, pending weather conditions.

The City of Kingman urges motorists to pay extra attention while driving in and around work zones and maintenance vehicles and encourages the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle. For questions or concerns about the project, please contact the City of Kingman Public Works at 928-757-7467.
