BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., March 24, 2023 – The City of Bullhead City invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of phase III of the Ken Fovargue Park Splash Pad, at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, March 25.

Phase III of the splash pad includes the installation of 2 new ramadas and two steel tables, as well as new water features and a few feet of artificial turf surrounding the pad.

This Kiwanis Splash Park improvement is funded as a result of generous financial support from BHHS Legacy Foundation which is an Arizona charitable organization whose philanthropic mission is to enhance the quality of life and health of those it serves. The BHHS Legacy Foundation supplied $15,000 to the project in conjunction with $7,500 from the Bullhead City Morning and noon Kiwanis Clubs. Concrete was donated by S&S Concrete and labor was provided by the City of Bullhead City.

The short ceremony will take place during the 5th annual Kiwanis Kids Expo. The expo is an educational and fun event organized by the Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club. The event brings organizations that serve children from around the community to Ken Fovargue Park to inform parents about the many opportunities that exist locally.
