KINGMAN – While many downtown Kingman businesses are blossoming, one is calling it quits.

The Wells Fargo branch on Beale Street was officially closed as of noon Wednesday. On Thursday, a moving company was packing items up to send it to other branches in Mohave County.

The downtown location closure was announced in March, to the dismay of many, who used the bank and benefited from the easy accessibility of the bank.

What will become of the empty building is unknown. However, the downtown Wells Fargo ATM will still be operational.

There are two other branches in Kingman, one at 3940 Stockton Hill Road near Safeway and the other is located at Smith’s, 3490 Stockton Hill Road.
